Another Day, Another Dollar

A wise man once said "Another Day, Another Dollar" ... Even for a genius like myself - I can't really understand how it all works.  We've obviously got this incredible amount of wealth in this country but it's distributed in a very strange way.  When you have a lot of money - having that money can make you money.  If you are smart, having money is a job in and of itself.  But really... why?  I think I need to take some economics classes or something.  I like to think I know about these things but it doesn't really make any sense to me at a basic level.  What ... how does this all work?  I mean what does a trading firm do really.  What does buying and selling stocks do.  How does this all work?  I really just look at it almost like a game really.  And sure... well hell.  Not even almost.  It IS a game.  Speaking of that, I would love to get back into trading stocks - it's just that I can't really get into that again until I have some disposable income to do that with.  I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to get back into that by the end of this year.  That should be one of my goals.  One of my goals is to be making $300/day by my birthday.  That's $300/day PROFIT.  So often I see people talking about how much money they make and they don't mention how much they are spending.  I mean if you are making 1000 dollars a day and spending 900 dollars a day - YOU ARE NOT MAKING 1000 dollars a day!  You are making 100 dollars a day.  ...!!!  You see this very often with get rich quick schemes and with various work at home offers.  They'll tell you how much money they are making with adsense or on clickbank and neglect to tell you how much money they are spending on advertising and webhosting and everything else that goes into making money online.  Anyway... Yes.  $300/day profit.  I think it's very doable considering all of the websites I have growing.  That's 7 months from now and I can see substantial growth in my websites by then.  Just in the last 2 months they've grown a lot.  I've got a few websites that I really think could make $300/day by themselves if I get them running at full potential.  I've got a few others that probably don't have quite that much potential.  There's only so much money to be made in some areas.  Or the competition is too high that the time spent wouldn't be worth it to go for the huge money words.  Some of this I feel may sound like code to you.  To me it all makes sense.  Anyway... the title of this post comes from something a guy used to say at one of my jobs back in the day.  And it reminds me of what I'm doing now.  Waking up at 6:30 AM commuting over an hour - working (although not really doing anything of much value) for 8.5 hours and commuting back another hour + ... this is really - when you take into account prep time and travel time - taking up atleast 12 hours of my day.  That leaves 4 hours if I sleep 8 hours.. and then you have eating dinner and other things... I just have very little time left to be productive and that really irritates the hell out of me.  I'm trying to make use of my time here for something productive and that's why I've set it up so I can make posts like this.  Yes I consider this productive.  Blogging is a big part of what I do now.  This particular blog is very unfocused because I am a very unfocused person and I just want this blog to be ... well whatever I want it to be.  Whether it's a rant about music, philosophy, or money.  Whether it's just the weirdest damn thing in the world or just the most fantastical thing in the universe.  I'll tell you this, it'll probably not be that.  www.affiliatehow2.com is a site for learning exactly how to make money online step by step - or that's the idea.  Now it's a bit messy but there's still some good info on there.  That's on a long list of "to do" ...
