let us make another poem. again hard when you are feeling sick. but i really love this album. it has a charm that i'd like to investigate. or maybe it's the kind you can't you know, maybe that's the whole thing. but still then, maybe that's it. but isn't that just mess... that's not the feel - it's not mess but there's things that are "wrong" but it doesnt sound on purpose but... shit, maybe it is. hm. maybe it is. maybe the fact that its done in such a lofi way makes things that are actually weird production tricks sound like fuckups that actually werent meant to be... i mean they are... in .. you know... i think. hm. i mean if you cut a little bit and stick it back... or make it sound like that. and you know, maybe what i'm thinking of... what i .. is because i come from this crazy place where that would be a normal thing to do. i mean if it's just an overdub or whatever, people don't consider that... but yeah that would be the mistake part. duh! that's what i mean is. what if that's not what it is. what if it's done on purpose to make the whole sonic thing more interestingly... but thats the thing and again maybe thats where this all started, i cant remember now. but when you are lo fi you can kind of get away with being more mysterious with things, rather than it sounding like an obvious manipulation. which i dont know. i think part of the problem with modern synths and technology.. and all of the music editing stuff is it's really easy to make neat weird sounds the thing is.. that takes all of the mystery out of the sounds which is what makes them interesting in the first place really. if you are trying to bring someone into a new place sonically you can't do it with things that are all preset and stuff you know, you've got to put things in weird spaces... i suppose the idea in some electronic music things and don't get me wrong i love ... things and shits and stuff. i'm not trying to say one thing or another just go through these ideas - try to come to a more interesting question. and yes that's what i mean. i have decided not to search for answers anymore, i'm only searching for a more interesting question.
