Religion As Hypnosis

... This is just a stem of an idea, I want to get back to this later ...

It stems from reading some of the Koran (in English translation of course) and it seemed very hypnotic even in this English translation. Very poetic in how it was written. Just now... that I seemed to feel like I was becoming hypnotized reading it. Perhaps that's part of the power of these religions. I definitly feel that hypnosis has played a part in religion, albeit subtly (probably and for the most part.)
