Virginia Tech Shooting (Shooters MySpace Page)

I have edited this entry because the initial information I was given is not true. As far as I currently know the killer (Cho Seung-hui) does not have a MySpace page. I'll edit this entry again if it turns out he really does have a MySpace page. Although it's somewhat sick I think it's natural to be curious about what kind of person would do something like this. I'll go more into that later. I think people are probably going to be blaming all of the wrong things. What I think is at the root of the problem probably differs greatly from most.

There are two things about him that greatly interest me now that I think need to be looked into in more detail. (1) His upbringing as a Christian and his mentioning of Jesus Christ. (2) The role that anti depression medication may have played in his mental instability.

I'm also extremely interested in the fact that he was able to attain this this killing machine so easily. A gun that can shoot so many people with so many bullets is not meant for self defense. This is a gun meant to be able to kill a lot of people. I don't understand why it's legal to own such a REAL weapon of mass destruction.

For REAL! Why isn't anyone talking about the fact that he's a CHRISTIAN who grew up in a CHRISTIAN family and who used his whacked out CHRISTIAN ideas as the basis for shooting a bunch of innocent people. Sure there are plenty of great Christian people who are not psychos. That's not my point. My point is if he were Muslim they'd act like it was really important. Why isn't important when someone invokes the name of Jesus Christ? How about the fact that some of his ramblings sound similar to those of Christian Fundamentalists with that stuff about promiscuity and whatnot. Shit. Religious psychos are always the killers. Religion is ruining the world.
