The Five Weirdest Bands/Artists Of All Time

GG Allin

GG Allin was weird in that unpleasant sort of way. In that shitting and pissing on stage sort of way. After his very last show in 1993 (before his death from a heroin overdose) he trashed the club he played at in NYC and then walked the streets of New York naked and covered in blood and feces.

To add to the complete insanity that was GG Allin's life is the fact that his birth
name was Jesus Christ.

Ween

Ween on the other hand is weird in a very lovely way. As with Zappa below they have been marginalized as a "joke band" by some and I'm probably not helping things by putting them on this list but that being said, they make some weird music. Some really good weird music. The thing with Ween is, I don't find it to be a joke, it's just another perspective. I suppose you either get that or you don't, eh?

Frank Zappa

Zappa often unfairly gets categorized as a novelty act and I suppose I'm not helping that by including him in this list. Zappa was a brilliant musician and songwriter but he was also pretty weird, at least by normal society standards. And I guess really, that's all weird is, isn't it?

"Let's Make The Water Turn Black"

Buckethead

He wears a mask and a KFC bucket on his head when he plays. That's pretty weird.

Here's Buckethead playing a song of his called "Padmasana"

Michael Jackson

"Thriller"

Maybe it's really some of his fans that are most weird?
