Jeremiah Wright On Bill Moyers

Jeremiah Wright has got a bum rap from the mainstream media. His comments have been taken out of context and blown out of proportion. He is a good intelligent man. And did you know he was a MARINE (volunteer marine) from 1961 to 1963? Did you know after that he volunteered again after that to be a Navy corpsman (enlisted medical specialists) who actually worked on the president of the united states in 1966 (LBJ) after he had surgery? They don’t let just any guy do that. That’s how good he was. In fact he was valedictorian at his Navy corpsman school. This is a brilliant man. A true patriot.

There is NOTHING anti-American about questioning your government’s policies. There can be nothing more American than that. If you don’t understand that, please look into the history of this country. Our country was STARTED because we questioned the policies of our government. We are founded on the ideal of free thinking not on the ideal of blindly following.
