Ron Paul For The Win
I think I’m going to get behind ol’ Ron Paul in this here presidential race. While I love Mike Gravel and agree with him on just about everything (I only agree with Mr. Paul on about 75%…) I just don’t think it’s coming together for Mike and the energy and excitement around the Paul campaign is just too much to resist. It feels like something could actually happen. And while I wish the same electricity was around Mike Gravel or Dennis Kucinich. … It’s happening with Ron Paul and I think it would be a mistake to not support him. I think this is a real opportunity for a real change in course for this country… The sort of thing that could literally save millions of people’s lives. And millions of American’s civil liberties. While it’ll take a true miracle for Ron Paul to win the Republican nomination… I can’t imagine that corporate controlled machine allowing that to happen… Perhaps he can win as an independent. Imagine a Rudy Giuliani, Hillary Clinton, & Ron Paul matchup. I can imagine it getting quite close. Maybe it’s a bit of a dream anyway, but I think it’s possible. I do not agree with Paul on some pretty big issues but I think he’s right on the really big things. Like actually saying the truth. Like being for a noninterventionist foreign policy. Like being for civil liberties. The Republicans and the mainstream Democrats aren’t really going to do anything about these things.
