The Flaming Lips Christmas On Mars
I saw Christmas On Mars at a movie theater Friday night. I’d been hearing about this movie for about 6 or 7 years (because The Flaming Lips kept pushing back the release) so it was pretty surreal to finally see it. It’s a pretty bad movie as far as normal movies go, but it’s not really meant to be a normal movie. It’s more of a ridiculous trip. But yes the plot is thin and hard to follow and the acting is pretty darn bad for the most part.
But uh, despite that - I would say - if you like The Flaming Lips and you dig weird movies - check it out because it’s pretty darn weird & plenty Flaminglipsy (which just reinforces the pretty darn weird part.)

Oh uh… So If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you probably aren’t reading this so I I have decided not to explain it after all. Plus if you are really curious you can use the ol’ tubes to figure it out. I just don’t know where to start really.
